| About me |
 |
I am Ram Kesarwani, and at present, the chief interpreter at Translation India. Over years, I have gathered extensive experience in English–Hindi and Hindi–English interpreting, translating and proof reading. Being a native speaker of Hindi, I was inspired to study Hindi language in college and helped myself earn Bachelor’s degree in Hindi.
However, I was always fascinated by the English language and went on to study English literature at postgraduate level and earned Master’s in English.

Language is a great means of communication. I find oral aspect of communication more interesting. Hence, I have devoted all my attention to develop our interpreting team at Translation India.
As a chief interpreter, my duties involve supervising the team of interpreters and assigning appropriate interpreters to relevant projects. I am also responsible to attend to day-to-day administrative duties and determine the staffing requirements necessary to keep the agency running smoothly.
My job also involves supporting training programs for new interpreters and being the point of contact for our company clients. So, I remain in touch with the customers and respond to their queries.
I would also like to say that I thoroughly enjoy the job of monitoring projects and ensuring that they are delivered on time and on budget.
I like to keep myself aware of the latest trends and technological developments in the field of translation and interpretation.
My linguistic skills and background in business administration are useful in carrying out my duties as a chief interpreter. |
